We are no longer updating individual businesses due to the changing nature of the Safe Start Reopening phases and each individual businesses timeline to adhere to regulations.
Currently Camano Island (Island County) and Stanwood (Snohomish County) are both in Phase II.
¶ Phase II - Island County & Snohomish County
On May 23, Island County received approval to advance into Phase II of the Governor’s Safe Start reopening plan. We are cautiously optimistic as we look to the future and consider what reopening means for our community. Continue to follow proper social distancing, masking and hygiene measures.
- An individual business is only allowed to reopen after it can implement the state guidelines for a safe start. The WA State Coronavirus Response Safe Start webpage provides customized guidelines for businesses to follow as they begin reopening services under Phase II.
- While various outdoor recreation opportunities are reopening to the public, camping remains prohibited within Island County at this time. The Governor’s office has recently released updated guidance pertaining to outdoor tennis facilities, paddle sports, guided fishing, zoos, and more.
